Apologies for the trivial question, but does the xiaomi.eu rom retain the built-in animal notification sounds from the China rom? I need the pallas cat meow notification sound.

Personally I just followed the guide to flash Fastboot ROMs in Fastboot mode using MiFlash from the link below, and also got the Fastboot ROM from the link below. The approach by @Mark F might also work though, but I haven't tried it personally...

Thanks for the tip! Found the Global ROM in xiaomifirmwareupdater website and was able to install the Fastboot ROM. For some reason, I was able to unlock my phone without waiting. Everything Google now works properly, like location history and Google assistant. Camera works well so far, but...
