You have Xiaomi EU ROM or global ROM running on your phone ? Because If you have global ROM hyperconnect isn't supported (yet).

Is this error message appearing when you just open the app ? Or when you click on a link in the app ? In case it's when you click on a link in the app, you probably need Chinese VPN or Chinese search engine. If it's appearing when only opening the app, try reinstall, otherwise I've no idea...

You can install the app with the guide above without the Zip file, because you got a Xiaomi laptop. As far as I know there is no version with English language yet.... It may be released one day, but of course I can't predict future, you'll have to ask Xiaomi...

Downgrading is possible, but you'll have to clean flash it.... and that means loosing data.

You can try 3 or 4 times to open it. If it doesn't start after that, perform a reboot, and try again..... If that doesn't work either try to reinstall the program.

When the earbuds where released they only supported MIUI quick connection, the pop-up was a part of this function. But some month ago Xiaomi released an update for the buds to support Google fast pair. So MIUI quick connection became obsolete. And that's why the pop-up isn't appearing anymore.

Impressive experience. I'll try next year.
