Invalid The device does not see the SIM card on the Xiaomi EU firmware

Maybe xiaomi.eu developers can address this modem file change as a permanent fix in the next release for Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G / POCO X6 5G (ex. xiaomi.eu_multi_GARNET_V14.0.17.0.TNRCNXM_v14-13)

Invalid The device does not see the SIM card on the Xiaomi EU firmware

If you are using stock (official) Xiaomi ROM, perhaps you will get more help at: https://c.mi.com/global/forum-sub/317874 To answer your question about fastboot, flashing just the modem file should not result in data loss. But flashing other firmware components could result in factory reset...

Invalid The device does not see the SIM card on the Xiaomi EU firmware

Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and POCO X6 5G are virtually identical hardware, the only difference is (AFAIK): 200mp main camera for Redmi and 64mp for POCO, glass back for Redmi, plastic back for POCO, and around 100 euros price difference

Invalid The device does not see the SIM card on the Xiaomi EU firmware

I finally got it working after spending a few hours. Seems the solution was to extract the file from the stock firmware, ex. from here: https://miuirom.org/load?o=poco-x6-5g&v=14.0.6.0.TNRMIXM&l=en&t=Fastboot except the file was not called modem.img, but non-hlos.bin and after running the...

Invalid The device does not see the SIM card on the Xiaomi EU firmware

Did you install a xiaomi.eu custom ROM? Like this one: https://sourceforge.net/projects/xiaomi-eu-multilang-miui-roms/files/xiaomi.eu/HyperOS-STABLE-RELEASES/HyperOS1.0/ But based on the information in this thread, it seems the solution is to restore the old modem.img (or non-hlos.bin) file...

Invalid The device does not see the SIM card on the Xiaomi EU firmware

Yes, I am trying to resolve issues with POCO X6 5G Global, with TWRP 3.7.1_12-Nebrassy and it does not list a partition called "modem". So I'm using fastboot method instead. Despite trying several modem.img files mentioned in this thread, I get either no connection at all or limited to...

But are you getting full reception of all networks, including 4G/LTE/5G ?

Invalid The device does not see the SIM card on the Xiaomi EU firmware

Same problem as others, SIM card detected properly, but no signal / connection on a POCO X6 5G Global. I tried flashing it using a modem.img as per instructions above fastboot flash modem modem.img but got an error: flashing modema - failed, modema_a partition does not exist, aborting Btw...

    HyperOS 1.0 23.11.8/13/16

I want to buy Xiaomi 13 but not sure which ROM to get, please help me

Does this mean you'll be using it with WiFi, in which case, why not purchase a tablet? You will be missing the following bands vs the global / European version: 4G / LTE: B7, B20, B28a, B32 5G: n28b But aside from the limited network bands, a xiaomi.eu ROM should make your future device work...

    New Xiaomi 13-FUXI-xiaomi.eu_multi_FUXI_V14.0.31.0.TMCCNXM_v14-13.zip

I'm using SMS on Xiaomi 13 (fuxi) with version 14.0.31.0.TMCCNXM_v14-13, no issues. Perhaps the ROM isn't compatible with your specific provider. You can try purchasing a prepaid / pay-as-you-go phone SIM with data, install it and see if it works. And check your APN settings again for Orange...

    New Xiaomi 13-FUXI-xiaomi.eu_multi_FUXI_V14.0.31.0.TMCCNXM_v14-13.zip

Which app are you using for SMS? Xiaomi Messaging (default on xiaomi.eu ROMs) or Google Messages (default on official Global ROMs)? You might try to install the Google Messages (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.messaging) and use it as the default SMS app...

    Does Xiaomi.EU Rom support Gapps?

Xiaomi.eu ROM already includes support for any Google apps of your choice (a-la-carte style), so you DO NOT need to install Gapps (which is for phones that lack Google services). xiaomi.eu ROMS do not include many Google apps by default (Android Auto, Gboard), so you simply install the ones you...

MIUI 14 MIUI 14 STABLE RELEASE

Maybe try doing a backup + factory reset + restore, it might resolve your issues in MIUI 14. If not, same answer, going back to MIUI 13 is a downgrade, so a data wipe is necessary.

MIUI 14 MIUI 14 STABLE RELEASE

Usually, when you go from weekly to stable, it's considered a downgrade, so factory reset / data wipe is needed, yet the software you are installing is newer, so can't say for sure. But in your case, you are also switching from MIUI 13 to 14, so it's a good idea to start fresh anyway (backup...

Mobile data usage warning / limiter

Got it, thank you! I was trying to find it in Settings. How to find: launch the Security app, go to "Data usage", then tap on "Set data usage limit", that's where it is located

MIUI 14 MIUI 14 STABLE RELEASE

It might have something to do with permissions. Go to Settings -> Apps, select Messages (by Google) -> Permissions, then look for "Send MMS messages" (disabled by default) and "Get device info" (returns blank message by default). Set both to "Always allow". Reboot, open Messages and if it...

Mobile data usage warning / limiter

Where in settings? I'm using a Xiaomi 13 (Fuxi) on Stable ROM (July 2023), can't seem to find it?

Mobile data usage warning / limiter

Is there a data warning / limiter feature in xiaomi.eu ROMs? For users with capped data and expensive overage charges, it can be very important. Configurable settings would monitor mobile data usage and warn you, then disable (turn off) mobile data once it reaches the plan limits. Something...
