    I'm on 7.3.1. The crackling noise still persist in headphone. Turn on Mi Sound Enhancer and 90% volume you will hear it.

    Can anyone running 7.2.8 and later confirm the crackling(distortion) sound in the headset when at 90% and above volume?

    I would recommend against this due to the cracking sound in headset bugs in miui 7.2 marshmallow. Just stay in 7.1 for now
