At the moment I see the 8590 (the one with the HDMI disconnection issue) as the latest. But the OTA updates usually take a few days/weeks to fully rollout. I'll check again in the next days.
Why are you asking? Do you have any news about an update?
Hi! The random lost HDMI connection is the main problem that came out with the latest firmware update (ver. 8590). As other users have said and tested, if you want to stay on Android 11 you can install the 7981 firmware following the instruction that you can find in the first post and that...
Hi! I'm glad to hear that it solved your problem also! Unfortunately I don't know about the update notification because now I keep the TV unplugged from internet as I use it only as a PC monitor. I'll try to find some info.
- Turn off the TV and unplug it from the power.
- Push and keep pushing the OK (the central round key) and the BACK (⇽) button.
- Without releasing the remote keys, plug the TV to the power and wait for the Recovery Screen to appear. Do not release the keys until the Recovery Screen appears (if...
Thank you for the report!
At the moment I'm using 5135 but I also set 2.1 HDMI in the source options. I use the TV at a 1080p resolution and it seems to support up to 120 hz as refresh rate at that resolution. I will give a try to the 7981 next week, as I think I skipped that update at the...
I never used it with Dolby Vision. I used the TV pretty much only as a monitor for a PS5 then and a PC now, so I don't know which version is better for that. The golden rule is always "If it works, don't touch it". :)
The latest, it should be the 8590 version and I didn't save the firmware dump to link it here because from many feedbacks it seems to be problematic in many ways (not only the HDMI disconnections). Any version linked on my post should be safe for the HDMI disconnecting issue, but my suggestion...
Hi again. Unfortunately the "solution" above turned out not to solve the issue and the HDMI continued disconnecting at completely random times. It's strange because the TV seems to understand that's still connected but the signal is lost. Anyway, I found a definitive solution: a way to roll back...
Hi, I had this same problem since the update. After trying everything else, new cable included, it seems I got rid of it setting the HDMI mode to 2.0. With 2.1 HDMI mode the TV kept losing the HDMI signal at random times. I haven't had that problem since I changed the setting a few days ago...
