Ok, I do understand. I just wanted clarity to know where the bug gets fixed and understand where this bug sits, with miui being a chinese developed rom and miuiandroid being a English translation it does get confusing.

Yep confirmed, default android keyboard sucks now on last few latest miui v4 builds. First few the default android keyboard worked brilliant. It's a real pity because I prefer the default android keyboard over the samsung or even swift key. Hopefully it gets fixed soon...

Basically install MIUI. Then after that install latest stable siyah kernel. Then install BLN control-free from marketplace. Tick the activate BLN box. You need to ensure the app can get root access as well. Therefore enable root in MIUI and ensure the app has the root security permissions...

I don't think so because the miui kernel doesn't support BLN and Siyah does. At least that's the reason I use Siyah for the SGS2.

Best solution for this is to use friendcaster(free third party facebook app). It syncs your contacts with facebook with pics and works perfect with MIUI :)

Awesome! Since they asked and received... What about the nice alarm clock sleep/night mode? This was available before the MIUI clock replaced the default Android clock.
