The phones running 2.2 - The Droid Bionic to be exact but I'm sure the Atrix has it too.- Ge~

It has to be possible. Android 1.5 had a rotation animation (albeit it was crude) and the newer Tegra 2 powered Motorola phones have it on Android 2.2. I'm sure that once a system dump is made someone we'll be able to port it.- Ge~
