    thanks. flashed the US version of the latest 2.6.1 rom. it happens to have a different kernel... the issue is now resolved.

    Thanks both, yes already did all the basic troubleshooting (it comes with switching roms as often as I do :). If I want to see why the application crashes, are there any logs I can review or are there any crash dumps that get generated?

    2.5.25 Inspire 4G Google Navigation -> Voice Search = crash "Unfortunately, Maps has stopped" Click on "Report MIUI" = "Unfortunately, Google Play Store has stopped" Also saw this in one of previous releases (always in between ROMs). Anyone else sees the same issue?
