Recently I have problems with my battery indicator. It makes strange instant drops and it seems like it happens only when recharging through the USB (tried 2.0 and 3.0). I don't know if it's a software or a battery problem, really hope it's a software problem :X

I'm a little bit confused. Are we or are we not going to get the usual "Uploaded" links with MIUI Roms with SG2 etc... ? I'm not giving any rush or something, just curious because of the links provided here...
Is there a way to update to the newest version of MIUI without it applying it's own kernel? I'm using syiah 5.0.1 for my S2 and it overwrites it every time, so I have to install it again. It's not much of a problem, just curious if there's a way around this...
People, Official MIUI releases are based on the stock android version, which you can easily check! If you see a MIUI version above the Stock one, it means it's a CUSTOM MIUI! Therefore, you should only use such distributions at your own risk!

or a DVI, or an HDMI port, doesn't matter... What software should I use to make the whole thing work? An app, drivers or there's a way using the normal settings?

To be honest, I don't really know. But there are differences and they are not that much (it's still the same ROM so it's obviously translation and a few modifications to be more pleasant for the UK users), that I can reassure you :)
