I rebooted my phone now stuck on miui logo I hope it is not broken

After updating to 3.3.8 and not being able to switch my default launcher my I tried downgrading to 3.3.1 to see if I could change the default launcher in that version and now it seems my phone will not boot. I cannot even get into recovery. Any idea? Is there anything I can do?

I used SD maid to freeze miui home and now I can use zeam launcher but still cannot select default launched . Doing it this way will effectively disable the Home button since I cannot set zeam as default
