After updating to 3.3.8 and not being able to switch my default launcher my I tried downgrading to 3.3.1 to see if I could change the default launcher in that version and now it seems my phone will not boot. I cannot even get into recovery. Any idea? Is there anything I can do?

I noticed while signing up that the captcha asked a question something like "where are the creators of MIUI (xiaomi) based? Beijing or Beijing,China would be the correct answer but for some reason it only accepted "china" as the answer very confusing.
