I flashed Mi5 8.4.19 Global dev and now I can't go back to MIUI android 7.0, I tried flash Xiaomi.eu 9.5.1.0 and fastboot 9.5.2.0 China stable but the screen stuck at Mi (power by android) screen. Does any of you face this problem, any solution? Thanks!

Does auto brightness work on this Mi5 weekly build? I have tried previous android 8.0 build but auto brightness didn't work.

Mi5 user, just updated to MIUI9, I think they just reduce the animation time and call it "Black tech, explosive fast", what a lie!

It's really hard to bricked while flashing rom in TWRP. I had the same problem as you when updated to this weekly release, stucked at "package extract file took 00s" too, then I enter fastboot mode and flash fastboot rom and my phone boot.

I have never heard about bricked phone after flashing rom in TWRP, it's really strange.

Too scary to try it on my Mi5 64GB tho :( Maybe I will wait until there are many others confirm successfully flash it.

These guys has Mi5 hard bricked after flashing this weekly rom, can you enter edl mode and miflash back to stock?

I have only played this one game so I dont know how Mi5 handle other games, do you play games and face the long time to load data games?

Hi I just uploaded a video to compare Mi5 and Galaxy J loading game data, really disappointed. I hope future updates will fix the issue with this game.

I have tried different roms like global stable, global dev, china stable, china dev and all the roms have this same issue. I will post a video later when I have spare time. I have only notice the issue on this game, all other apps work very smooth and fast

I only play this one game, I dont know and dont bother how this phone handles other games. I just noticed that Mi5 takes a long time to load data game, beside that, it's a very great phone for its price.
