Well, this issue wasn't always there. It worked fine before 3.5.2...

What is special about MIUI, compared to other ROMs, that requires some launchers (Apex, but not GO, for instance) to become system apps in order to have working widgets?

I know! Apex is listed there but it won't let me select it! The stripe beside it doesn't become orange! I can only select the other two - Go or the built-in one.

Made a clean installation of 3.5.10 (i.e. after wipe). The ROM isn't quite responsive, often has lags. During installation of apps from Google Play, the phone slows down and becomes drastically non responsive for about 2 to 3 minutes (!). Please fix... Thanks & great work!
