Just noticed the same issue, I have MiNote just updated to 6.7.7, all the previous Roms the transparency of the recent app was there....now it is very ugly to see. Hope will be fixed

Have you tried to download the ROM file again? I think your file is corrupted. Download from computer and then transfer into phone (it should be detected by PC in recovery mode).

Same problem here with MiNote (ex Virgo). No animation in weather app, notification bar or in contact app. All the animation showed in the first video are missing. Setting in battery option in order to see system systems animations is on. Any idea?
