wow that's a lot of information but also a lot of confusion on this adaptive-refresh-rate, seems too much of a trouble now for me, I've also tried another App called SmartHertz but it seems unable to control the refresh rate at least in AoD mode... in any case if even the android counter shown...

I got my Mi 11 Pro and started playing around to shed some light on this refresh-rate issue I'm still on original Chinese ROM 12.5.20 (I'm afraid of issues with bank apps if I unlock it and switch to xiaomi.eu and so far I didn't really have had much troubles with the original chinese rom)...

That's a good news I'm still on stock chinese ROM 12.5.20 because I've read of several issues/instabilities with Miui13 As soon as I read it is stable and reliable I'm planning to unlock the bootloader and switch to xiaomi.eu 13

So did you upgrade to Miui13 and noticed any improvement/changes in battery life ?

I recommend to try also WIUI EX version. After loading it on mine, I never experienced any more troubles for about 1.5 months

did you try the EX version of WIUI ? I also had quite a lot of troubles with my Mi2S before, but since I installed that ROM situation improved dramatically my advice is to try that

Apparently the EX version solved (or at least improved) my problems with ghost touches / unresponsive touch screen. After about one week of use neither happened even once

I confirm that -so far- also mine had no problems anymore... in my case I guess solution was just the EX WIUI version, based on older/different drivers.

I'm trying now latest WIUI EX and (so far) looks much better. Hold on: I will report more in a few days if keeps going better about missing/repeated touches...
