My mi5 experiences random freezes while opening camera. This started few weeklies ago. Still do not understand the cause of freezes, phone recovers only after hard restart. Did anyone with Mi5 have similar issues?

Mi5, latest rom, no issue with play store and I'm not a beta tester of google services of any kind.

I wouldn't recommend latest Rom, I have battery drain issues. For example, if you put phone into air plane mode for night, it doesn't go into deep sleep at all.... I'm talking about mi 5

Just wondering if wireless display issues are fixed in Mipad Chinese dev rom too. It never worked with chromecast.

Just want to warn, at least for me re-partition script for the MiPAD1 didn't worked from twrp recovery and MiPAD soft bricked. Flashed back cwm recovery, re-partition script finished successfully, rom installation after that worked too.

On my Mi3W 6.8.11 rom Music app is working without any issues. You should check settings, player filters files by size and/or folders.

This weekly on my Mi3W has the best battery life ever experienced on miui8, Pitty, that my girlfriends Mi4LTE still experiences random reboots. Lately I was wondering, xiaomi eu roms for Mi4 are labeled Mi4W, does it mean, that Mi4LTE not supported? Btw, it installs without any errors.

Google inbox app still force closes if you take any action... As a workaround, if you disable permission manager in security app everything works fine.

Could anyone check if inbox FC bug (seems that only marshmallow devices are affected) is fixed in this weeks rom? FC happens when in the inbox app you try to delete or archive an email.

Could you give more details on how you installed custom kernel on MI3 miui8 rom?

In the 6.6.12 ROM for Mi3 I experiencing a messed up permissions for the apps. I.e., if I try to open attached document in the inbox app it asks for permission to use pdf viewer and then force closes. Wondering if this behavior is fixed for 6.6.13.. or is this an isolated issue affecting only...

I'm using 6.6.4 on Mi3W, didn't find any bugs.

i would like to ask, is there a battery life improvements on miui8 comparing to miui 7 on Mi3 devices? Also, interesting if xposed works on miui8..

Miflash uses the same fastboot scripts where it is forbidden to flash into device with board_version=4.4 Maybe someone tried to force flash through fastboot such device ignoring board_version check?

I also have Mi4 LTE CU version... As i understand, these are xiaomi officially unsupported kind of phones, because they have "board_version=4.4" , and the version 4.4 is forbidden to flash by fastboot... But it is possible to install xiaomi.eu rom on these phones. I'm just not sure how stable...
