I've now tried flashing a bunch of different version all show the same problem. I did find a workaround however. If I turn WLAN off and use my data plan instead it seems to work. However as soon as I turn WLAN on it seems I don't get any contact with google. Playstore not working etc

It does depend on what freq. is used in your country. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UMTS_frequency_bands The HongMi uses 900 and 2100 I think that covers most of europe, but I'm not sure check how it is in your country to be 100% sure. (works well in Sweden)
