volume low

So I have a Redmi Note 12 Pro and the volume in my headphones just isn't loud enough. I understand that it's an EU regulation thingy, however nothing I tried seems to work. On my Redmi Note 7 I fixed it by changing the region, here however that doesn't work. What can I do other than root? Also...

Using Mi 8, MIUI 12.0.3.0 from Xiaomi.eu (obviously) and Comparing to MIUI Global and AOSP Custom ROM on other Mi 8 and mines too, the sound on Xiaomi.eu ROM is so low. I know that it is low for the European regulations but I really want my sound volume back to normal. Any idea how to do it? Is...
