Hello, I just realized that location history doesn't work. Any chance to fix it without downgrade? If not, what is last miui version without this bug?

Which location history? Xiaomi or Google?
 
Google of course. There is any xiaomi app with location history (like Google maps)?

I have the same problem on my Mi9. Not sure if it's a problem with this ROM or related to Android 10.
When I go to Google Maps -> Your Timeline -> Settings and privacy, then "Location History is off". And if I try to click on it to enable it, nothing happens.

Same here and I'm not sure when it happened. Checked least week and there is no history saved.

For me it started last Saturday when I flashed 9.8.22. I came from Global ROM (Android 9) where the location history worked fine.

Same problem on my MI9. It happened since the switch to Android 10. Attempts to fix it by deleting Cache / Data / reinstalling of Google maps, etc. did not help

Same here.
Mi9, at the moment its met the android 10 - no working!

Trying to investigate it.
 
9.8.29 didn't fix this issue, at least not for me. I still haven't been able to find out, if this issue is related to all Android 10 betas.

Is there any update on this?
This setting is really important for me, because without this it's not possible to share locations within google maps.

I have switched back to the die stock rom. There was no feedback here and i really need this feature

Not sure what you want from us. We're not responsible for how well Google apps work with Android Q. They are not open-source and are heavily obfuscated.

To me it doesnt look like a general Problem with Google Maps on android q. Because I couldnt find much in this Error in Google.
Therefore my guess is also, that its related to MIUI.
Maybe Not to this .EU Branch. Maybe its already in the source.

That's a lot of maybes, and no answers. We can't just guess what the problem is.
 
Same problem here, "location history is off" and can't turn on the feature. Google maps location history don't work.
I tried with a clean install of 9.8.29 but still don't work, problem appears from 9.8.15.
The AI button with "Speak to Google Assistant" don't work too, with Google search works OK.
 
I think this is the logcat from failure of enabling the location history - i'm using google maps beta...
Any hints ?

Mi9 Se. Location History is On. But no stored places in history line since update to 9.8.15
Edit. After downgrade to 9.8.9 Google maps history working fine!

Edit: after reflash 9.8.28 and 9.9.3 working again.
