Advice redmi 12 5G

Hello Hope i am at the right section ... 6 months ago got a new phone redmi 12 5g with miui v14.0.5.0.TMWEUXM here in Greeece because price was good & i did read that will be supported with Hyper OS3 & so was waiting for updates all this time, but never arrived not a single one ...so i start looking around how to update

under manage apps tried to clear cache/data few apps like updater, system etc ... tried to change regions ... at the updater under choose update package, tried few versions of Hyper OS2 even the latest 2.0.208XXXX but always to all of them getting the message " can't verify update, sorry flash to this stable version is not allowed "

so curious i press the download latest packet over wifi & it downloads the file miui_SKYEEAGlobal_v14.0.5.0.TMWEUXM44341fa4e9_13.0.zip which flashed successfully (same firmware version as got the phone) & stayed at downloaded_rom... right after the successful update, appeared a message saying there is New update that will take place between 02:00 - 5:00 am schedule ... but 3 nights by now, No update arrived & in fact Nothing since 6 months when i got this phone

So i did search this 14.0.5.0XXX same firmware & download it from the internet, copied to the phone & tried to flash it via phone updater ... STRANGE this time got the message " is not allowed to flash unofficial rom " while is exact same file miui_SKYEEAGlobal_v14.0.5.0.XXXX as the one downloaded by its self

Phone is market at the back with CE stamp blue color...when i went to developer option it does allow me tick to unlock bootloader

What is going on here ? how to update the easiest way? also i have register for unlocking (if needs) but need to wait few more days
In General i just want to update the redmi 12 5G to latest 15 android...ok Hyper OS3 not allowed to this phone, but H os2 is really fine for me to enjoy the new experience

Hi...Just to update ...one solution because never came an update & maybe help others if will work:
was to try install (at the older miui) newer version EDIT > INSTALLER or at least try few other updaters from around that time of the MIUI OS version, but i did think about it too late ... so by now i have flashed using fastboot & miunlock ,from MIUI 14.0.5.0 to HS2 2.0.208.0 ...
hoping future update will arrive or at least let me install it manually...

Just to update...
was 7-8 months with miui 14 never got an update ... fastboot & locked phone to hyper2 (above post) never got an update again (was 4 out) & manually will not allow me was getting always the message can not verify ... just that ...
i managed to unlock BL again...
Now phone is with fastboot to latest 2.0.213.0 official with unlocked phone & BL, but for a reason google wallet, bank card (have not set them up yet) opening & working fine, also google play (updated to March) & all other google apps are working fine

so with open BL i have new options ---> so question to know for the future ... will this forum will support the redmi 12 5G with HOS 3 (even with android 15) from your EU roms ? (it is not listed at official xiaomi for HOS3) March ended its support but for the next 2 years will have security updates

We don't invent non-existant ROMs out of thin air.
If Xiaomi won't update it to HyperOS 3.0, then we have nothing to build our ROM from either.

Nothing is wrong with your phone. It’s on a locked EEA ROM, so updates are rolled out slowly and manual installs are blocked unless they match your exact build. Best option is to wait for OTA, or unlock the bootloader and flash an official fastboot ROM. HyperOS 2/3 may not even be fully supported on your model.

Τhank you for reply, but updates since 14.0.5.0 EUXM till i flashed manually to 2.0.208.0 was something like at least 15 updates ahead EUXM (including 5 miui, about 5 hos1, 5 hos2) so i was not sure after so many changes from miui 14 will update to hos2 ... None of them matched to install it manually ? (tried so many)
Anyway now i am with unlock BT & waiting...
I think Xiaomi will give this cheap phone HOS3 with an early version (android 15) because recently i have seen last minute they gave to other Xiaomi 12 models was not in the list for HOS3

IF matters the stock box states "sky blue" but i have only seen code name plain "sky" , never "sky blue"

By the way now i am thinking about it, i should had left it with miui 14, had more option settings
