I have an Air Purifier 3H and an Air Purifier 4 Pro. If cooking or having most other kinds of particles the PM sensors increase correctly allthough showing very different values on the two mentioned models.

I however have these specifically due to regular calima which is tiny sand particles brought by wind from the Sahara. It's currently limited visibility due to sand particles and about 120ug/m3 PM10 and 40ug/m3 PM2.5 at official measurement stations nearby. Both air purifier stay at "1" if left outside regardless of current conditions. It's like they just don't register the sand particles.

Ideas appreciated. Are there new Xiaomi sensors that might show the sand particles correctly? Any third party sensors with the same connector that can be used? (The sensor hanging outside the sensor enclosure is ok, I just need something compatible with the connector cable.)
