Android Auto.

My first post here. I am interested in trying a Xiaomi phone and Miui rom. I have been enjoying using android auto in my car for some time and wondered if anyone had any experience using it with Miui ROMs? I am asking as android auto seems to be very picky about which phones it works on!

i tried it just last week on a "Seat Ateca with" worked fine after granting some extra permissions in security app of MIUI.
I have a Mi5 with 8.1.1.0 stable ROM
Xiaomi models are not mentioned at all in their compatibility lists, but however it still works.. so i wouldnt give much about that lists.

Yes, works also with my Mi 5, but not with the Mi 5 s Plus.

I knew it, should have better bought a Mi Mix. ;-)

So, it works connected to the car, right? Not the new display on phone mode?

Which ROM version do you have installed?

I don't have a compatible car, but the Application works perfectly on the phone I have the last weekly installed 6.12.1

Sure it works on the phone, but it cannot make a stable connection to my car, which supports Android Auto.
