Are Xiaomi phones cheaply made ?

Are they ? How can xiaomi make a good quality phone with killer features while keeping the price low ?
I was thinking about getting the xiaomi mi3 but if they are cheaply made,no point of getting it.

Because they get only a 10% benefit for each phone sold. According to them, they don't want to make money selling phones, but with the market behind MIUI.

If you have used Mi2 or Mi2s you will find that those never cheap as you think. Mi2 and Mi2s are one of the best phones at its price.
