Baseband Unlock query

I plan to unlock my bootloader to install Xiaomi.eu's custom ROM but DO NOT plan to root my phone.

Will unlocking the bootloader result in a broken Tee or something ? Will I have issues with banking apps or Play Integrity issues?

I meet Strong integrity right now (duh!) and don't wanna lose it.

If you don't want to lose Strong integrity, don't unlock your bootloader.

If you unlock your bootloader, you lose strong integrity UNLESS you root and spend a lot of effort trying to stay ahead of Google's efforts.

Are you trying to unlock the baseband or bootloader? Unlocking bootloader allows you to install other roms. If you're just trying to access certain 5G bands that aren't enabled at the moment, you can use dialer codes.

For the most part, you don't need strong integrity. Even for banking apps. Play integrity is another one of those keep ahead of Google things, but it's a lot easier than trying to get strong integrity.

Xiaomi.eu provides an APK that will help with getting device/basic integrity if you aren't rooted. If you're rooted, there are other options available for that.
