Bootloader question

Hello fellow 12 pro users,

I have a question regarding bootloader, does the phone data wipe if I unlock my bootloader for root? Like I've heard some say it wipes data, but some say it doesn't, what has your personal experiences been?

Yes, unlocking the bootloader will wipe the data.
