Does anyone have problems with camera not focusing? I have it occasionally, have to "slap" the phone and it will focus
rebooting doesn't help. Had same issue with a Huawei phone. I am on latest weekly.

One of the worst cameras I've used so far in recent times.
My mother's Umi iron pro takes better photographs. You need incredibly high lux levels ( summer time out doors) to get decent photos.
If lightning conditions are anything but optimal you'll get unfocussed blurry images with a water colouring effect where image details kinda just bleed into one another.
I love the rest of the phone but honestly the camera is a waste of time, would of prefered xioami to have one decent sensor rather than these two sub standard parts.
Regarding manual focus, in picture mode no but video mode Caf doesn't work and I have to enable manual focus.
