Can't flash ROM via EDL

Hi my mi 5s's fingerprint sensor is not working and i found on a xda thread that i needed to flash latest Chinese Dev rom Via EDL in order to make fingerprint sensor work again. But my problem is the process doesn't finish (Miflash). It took way too long to finish and the process bar is unchanged and as at 0 percent. My driver's seems to be fine and i don't know what the problem is. Can anybody help?

Hi, how did you put it in EDL mode? I have tried several ways but they have all failed.

Regarding your error, try shortening the name of the previous folder to image
