Can't Log Into Mi Account.

I'm not Xiaomi MI 4. For whatever reason I can't log into my account. I tried to login through settings and in security I did a scan and it says to log in but when I click on the button nothing happens. I even have an account and I am logged in on the default browser app. Please help. I'm not a computer Wiz so give me detailed instructions.

Try another browser and makesure your internet connection is working

My internet connection is definitely working. Also, I didn't use a browser, I meant on my phone in general.
