I have a very strange behavior on my Xiaomi 13 running HyperOs 1.0.8.0 stable.
I am using dual SIM and I am using whatsapp and cloned whatsapp, each on a different number.
When I open main whatsapp I can see 1240 contacts.
When I open cloned whatsapp I can see 749 contacts.
Tried to sync, many times. It didn't solve.
Tried to remove all permissions to contacts for whatsapp (I noted permission of cloned app follow permission of main app) and give it back. It didn't solve.
Tried to remove the cloned app and create it again. It didn't solve.
Searched for cloned whatsapp account but there is not, only main whatsapp account. (I suppose cloned app uses same main app account).
I ALWAYS get less contacts in my cloned whatsapp. Why?
Shouldn't both app read my phone contacts? (I have around 1700 total contacts in my phone, using Google account)
What can be the cause of this missing alignemt?
Is there something more I can try to solve or troubleshoot?
