Connect with Android Auto

I have a redmi 8 pro with muiu 12 global and would like to connect it to Android Auto in my car. Despite many attempts and USB cable changes, it does not succeed. as soon as I connect it the display starts bouncing. is there a solution?

Happened to me too, with global. Try asking on the MI Community app, cause our rom is a bit different, and so we cannot 100% help

Happens to me too on MI 10, xiaomi.eu ROM 12.5 where as soon as I connect the USB cable my device restarts.

Worked flawlessly on 12.5 before I decided to clean flash.
