Dafang Camera Motion Alarm Will Not Download

Hi,

Recently the 'Motion Alarms' are recording and I can see them in the list however when I go to click on the item to view them it looks as if it should start and then does nothing at all so I cannot view them.

Anyone else experiencing this issue too?

This is the message (in chinese - bottom centre) I am receiving when trying to open the video files from the motion alarm.

Anyone have any knowledge of what it means? Frustration knowing something has been captured but cannot see it.

i have exactly the same problem about one month now, i have reset my camera, re-installed app, tried different phones, different android versions(6,7) , removed SD, camera settings ...but nothing seems to fix the problem. I thought my camera has a defect...since from day1 a had alot of problems...

ps: i have mainland china selected in region ( i have tried when i baught it( dec17), eu region but that messed the camera and had to reset it again)...is this still needed or can we change(need to change?) region now?

I thing you are right, since we all have the same problem. I wrote a review regarding this problem in the mi home playstore app. What else can we do to inform xiaomi about this problem?

I have modified camera plugin in Mi Home so as a result I have log files. From log file I see that Mi home application received from server information about available motion events (paths to mp4 and jpg files):

When I try the same address via web explorer I get:

Object Not Found: Make sure your object exist in current region, request-id=8666fe67-e505-44e5-0000-0162b548fce3

So generally it looks like a server problem. The question is if it behave better if someone have premium cloud account.

For some reason after reading your post I checked and the downloads are working again.. maybe your post prompted someone to fix something.
