New Decryption problem in TWRP on Redmi Note 8

We have a few questions that we would like the mods to answer:

1. Is it affecting all RN8 devices or have we somehow messed up the installation?
2. Is this an issue on your side or Xiaomi's side?
3. Could it be intentional or you believe it will be fixed in future updates?
4. Is it device-specific (only ginkgo) or are all the 20.12.9 updates causing this?
5. Any temporary workaround or fix you suggest?
