Default location for Ringtones and notification sounds

So i can see in the MIUI folder on my SDcard that there is a ringtone folder, but where do i put notification and alarm sounds? It doesnt read the default android loaction of /sdcard/media/audio/TYPEOFSOUNDHERE

So if i wanted to download new notification and alarm sounds where do i put them??

If you have a program such as root explorer that let's you view system file then all you have to do is go into /system/media/audio and alarms, notifications, and ringtones will be there and you can add the files you want.

Hmmm.. i suppose i could do that or just ADB them to that location...

is there not folder that gets read on the SD card as well as /system?

Should there be support for .aac or not? My previous aac ringtones are not working, which took me by surprise.
