Downgrade Device.

Hello every1! i have a question for u, guys, so i hope u can help me in this situation.
i have flashed stable miui8.2.1 based on android 5.1... but i dont like it. and i'd flash a dev rom like 7.2.23/24, based on android 7.0.
so the question is: how can i pass and downgrade from a stable miui8.2.1 to a dev 7.2.23/24??? i have to install a previous stable version?? or something else?

a previous thred, someone said to me that i have to install 6.12.22 and then upgrade to 7.2.23... is the truth??

the downgrade it must be done on twrp from 8.2.1 to 6.12.22? or simply from updater???

All 7.x are quite stable. Some people here would recommend 7.1.3 but I find them all pretty the same.
