@carolef Download the official ROM from here and flash it with TWRP. Not sure why do you want to "block" the phone (lock the bootloader), because if you are really from Europe, the EU laws prevent you from losing warranty.

Hi. I have Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 8 (not pro). There is an official TWRP for RN7 (https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=50678 or https://twrp.me/Devices/). I installed TWRP and then installed MIUI from xiaomi.eu. But I don't know how to install properly MIUI for Redmi Note 8 because there is no TWRP on these sites. Any suggestions?

I am still om miui 11 stable 11.0.3 (original one), it is a bit laggy compared to my previous phone A2 converted to 6X, but on my previous phone I was using beta version.

Is here someone, who can confirm installing beta miui 11 improves UI experience on Note 8?
