F3 updating from stock A11 to stable A12

So when I got my poco f3 in march I unlocked bootloader, flashed TWRP official 3.6.0-11, rooted and waited for recovery stable rom to be released (kept stock and didnt flash rom). Now I intend to install MIUI13 A12 stable but I have a couple questions:

1. Whats the right way to update TWRP to 3.6.2 for A12? I tried to upgrade through Ramdisk option. It loaded but failed to decrypt. then when when I rebooted to recovery it sent me to fastboot instead but I figured maybe "flash current TWRP" needed? I reflashed 3.6.0-11 for now.

2. Do I need to format data when upgrading from stock MIUI 12.5 A11 to MIUI13 A12 stable?

Update ROM in current TWRP 3.6.0-11.
No need to do Format Data.

What about failing to decrypt issue? Also I updated through Ramdisk but when I restarted I got fastboot. Is there something I should've done differently?

I do not understand. Maybe the language barrier is to blame.
Update the ROM using TWRP 3.6.0-11
If you are on A11, decryption in TWRP 3.6.0-11 works for you.

Oh ok. No I mean I try to update TWRP from official 3.6.0-11 to TWRP 3.6.2-12. After TWRP boots, I enter my pin code but twrp says ( wrong password. cant decrypt data). And after reboot TWRP don't start anymore and phone goes to fastboot loop. I tried to update TWRP from (install recovery ramdisk) and from fastboot then (flash current TWRP) but it's the same
