Frequency band 28

Hello,

I'm about to purchase a MI9 6RAM 128ROM with the global firmware, it supports the frequency band 28 (700MHz) used by brazilian 4G.
If I change the original firmware for the xiaomi.eu, will the band 28 continue to be enabled?

Bands is determined by the hardware not the software that I know of so it will work as normal.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
