New Gallery: Google Backup Failed

Hey guys, whenever I try to enable the Google Photos backup in the gallery I get the attached error.

Having a look around somebody suggested to reinstall and update Google Play Services but it didn't help.

Any guidance on how to fix the issue?

XM12 on latest weekly release of HyperOS.

Already done and using it to backup the pictures, but I do not understand why the embedded feature in the gallery app doesn't work thanks

I also get this error on my Poco X5 Pro, it happened with MIUI 14 and continues after updating to HyperOS, I have the Google Photos app installed. The backup only works from Google Photos.
