Ive noted that several users have the same problem as i have wherein you are unable to sync gboard even though you have regular gmail profile. This problem is not seen in global ROMS but only in chinese MIUI and EU MIUI. Does anybody have a fix for this?would making GBoard a system app fix this?Thanks
P.S i have searched for answers regarding this and none of them has worked including the uninstalling updates and re.install. also suggest contacts has been enabled with no effect. I am using Mi5 with 8.2.3 but this has been noted since 8.2.2. Problem was not seen when using the global version.
