tried all solution in that post, google pay still not working on miui 11 Mi9

It never will work with Chinese rom or what everer Google has band anything to do with Chinese. So mater what work around it will always be booked good luck

Got it working with the safety patch magisk module and the solution provided here https://github.com/davidramiro/gpay-gms-patch/blob/master/README.md
In case it's not working, empty cache and data of play services and gpay or uninstall and reinstall gpay. Hope it helps, had a lot of hassle with that as well
