Hello there,
I'm facing connection issues on Play Store app from my main device (Mi Max 3) which is running MIUI 12.5 (V12.5.1.0.QEDCNXM) from xiaomi.eu, along with Magisk v28 (set to hidden).
The issue came out about one week ago, and I was firstly able to partial recover it by flashing the ROM over again (without wiping data, only dalvik and cache) but it then got worst in a few hours.
I've been struggling to find a solution these days, but without success.
Today I was about to erase my Mi Max 3 to get a clean installation of the ROM, but I realized that also both my Mi Pad 4 and Redmi 5 Plus came up with the same connection issue today. It used to work normally until last night, so I guess it's a Google Service issue and wiping the Max 3 won't help at all.
Clearing cache and data of Play Store and Play Services apps multiple times didn't help at all, even if adding Play Store and Play Services to the block list didn't change anything.
All 3 devices are on xiaomi.eu ROMs along with Magisk, I assume Google must have added some kind of integrity checks on Android devices...
Is anyone else having this issue, and does somebody know how to fix the connection error at all?
My actual situation is that I have 3 unusable devices, since none of the Google Apps (Maps, Docs, Sheets, YouTube, etc.) are working due to this problem. So I am willing to find a fix as soon as possible.
Not to mention that the internet connection is working on all devices, since Firefox, WhatsApp, Telegram and all other apps that need to be online are working normally (with the only exception that WhatsApp doesn't upload the backup to GDrive anymore).
Thanks in advance for any provided help!
