[HELP] Redmi Note 13 Pro+ detected as "zircon" – can't flash xiaomi.eu ROM

Hi everyone,

After months of waiting to unlock my Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G (codename: garnet), I finally tried to flash the xiaomi.eu_GARNET_OS2.0.7.0.VNRCNXM_15 ROM.
I used the script windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format.bat provided in the ZIP, but it fails immediately with the message:
Error: device is not garnet
I ran fastboot getvar product and got:

(bootloader) product: zircon

So my phone is being detected as zircon, even though it's supposed to be a garnet model.
The device is brand new, official ROM, never modified.
Has anyone encountered this issue?
Is there any way to fix the product name mismatch or force the flash?

It seems you are confused..
- Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G = Zircon (VNOEUXM) MediaTek
- Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G = Garnet (VNREUXM) Qualcomm
