Hiding Folders or Apps

I have put all the apps I don't want but can't remove in a folder named Junk. But there's two things I'd like to be able to do WITHOUT switching Launchers (I love the MIUI launcher!).

• Hide a folder, or an individual application.
• Hide icon labels.

Are these possible?

I'd just like to add that in the "Access Control" menu the only application showing there is "Guard".
