How To Change to English

Hi

I just purchased a Redmi from a reseller in Singapore.He had imported it from Hong Kong

However, when I switched on the phone, everything is in Chinese.

How do I set it to be in English ( ie from the 1st screen ).

I cant proceed from the 1st screen because anything I try to press is in Chinese

TY for your post but i'm not sure it helps. I got a red rice phone (. Could a helpful soul check a minute on his phone and write 2 lines here ? would be great !

Lol. It's easy. Hit menu, choose last option and then on settings list choose option with keyboard icon. Then first option is the language.

Maybe flash new rom(from this site) and you have in english.

Maybe is letter only one.

On first screen swipe to the right. Settings have 2 kards/tabs. One with common used functions and second with all options.
