How To Format SD Card Within Redmi Note

Hi, I have a problem with my SD card where it the file explorer shows my SD card is empty after I play music for a while. When I go to settings>storage, it shows my SD card is connected as I can see the amount of space remaining on my SD card. So I wanna know how do I format my SD card on my phone, hopefully it will solve this problem. Thanks
