I forgot to say, I'm trying to install WiFiKill too, which I had been able to installed previously. I'm going to follow that thread. Thanks

well, I did install the app, however, it wouldn't run. Says "Unfortunately WiFiKill has stopped".

Strange. I didn't had that problem. I used an old WifiKill version (1.7), which I downloaded from an unofficial (but clean) source.

Problem solved! Finally figured why the app failed to install or run; I updated MIUI through the Updater app! I just flashed the latest version, and was able to install WiFiKill and ran it successfully
