How to stop the lock screen from appearing when tapping the power button

I have a Redmi Note 8 and I have recently downloaded a battery saving app that instantly hibernates selected apps when closing the screen. Thing is the lock screen is preventing the app from working and I have no idea how to actually disable the lock screen from appearing when tapping the power button. Any solution is appreciated whether ADB/plugins (just no roots please)
