is it possible to rebuild miui to unsupported device?

This may be a dumb question, but is it possible to rebuild newer MIUI Rom to fit unsupported device? For example to rebuild MIUI 13 to fit Xiaomi Mi 8 which is I think unsupported, I mean to take MIUI 13 for Mi 10 and then combine it with the necessary files extracted from an official rom for Mi 8 (MIUI 12.5). I don't know a lot about modding custom ROMs and how ROM creating works, so I am sorry in advance, if this question is already answer.

Unlikely. Mi 8 is stuck on Android 10, while Mi 10 is Android 12.
