Is it safe to flash the newer version ROM directly

Hi, I have a question here.
I was planning to update my Poco F2 Pro from 12.0.8 to 12.5, so I would like to know if I can flash it directly without formatting my internal data?

Yes, it should be safe to update to V12.5.2.0 from V12.0.8.0. Flash it directly / without formatting data.
