Is there any workaround for forced dark mode that is removed in miui 13?

I was hoping for something more immediate.. Why does Xiaomi keep on removing things from Google's SDK? First the notification priority and now this..

They didn't remove it, but only Xiaomi-approved applications will appear there. So far, it's just a Chinese app.
They probably chose this step because people are stupid, they used this feature incorrectly. They still complained about poor rendering when they had dual DM turned on.
